For our Oil & Gas division in Rotterdam Waalhaven, you are responsible for managing and optimizing pricing strategies for various projects and standard cargo units (air and sea freight). From a young and driven team with an international character, you and your colleague seek out the best deals for your client portfolio; you contribute to this effort. 

How you do this? Our clients find in you, a strong business partner with an eye for commercial opportunities. Your client portfolio is diverse and each client has specific wishes and needs. Your challenge is to negotiate and apply the best pricing strategy for each client. This energizes you! You have a clear understanding of your clients' needs, which allows you to effectively collaborate with various carriers and suppliers to find the best match in terms of transport and price. You can communicate well at multiple levels and have an affinity for negotiation techniques. Work experience in a role such as Freight Forwarder, Expeditor or a related position could be beneficial for this job. Besides analyzing cost prices, rates, transport options, stakeholder management and conducting market research, your main focus is customer satisfaction. You achieve this by:
 

• handling inside sales, managing a diverse client portfolio and ensuring the best pricing strategy that meets the client's needs;
• maintaining and further strengthening partnerships with carriers, suppliers and other stakeholders;
• analyzing cost prices and negotiating the best rates and most favorable contracts;
• monitoring services provided and addressing any issues that may affect price and service quality;
• a certification of no objection (VGB) is required to fill this position.

You bring
 

•    natural curiosity, drive and effective communication skills;
•    MBO4 work and thinking level;
•    work experience as a Pricing Analyst, break bulk within Oil & Gas Industry, or within procurement;
•    numerical insight and a results-driven attitude.
