Move forward as Sea Freight Planner Chemicals at DSV in Rotterdam
Handling chemical products, hazardous or non-hazardous, from the Netherlands to Asia, Brazil, or South Africa? You’ve got this! As a sea freight planner, you’ll be responsible from A to Z for arranging transports for one of our major chemical clients. From incoming requests to invoicing, you’re in the lead.

You get it done
In this department, you’ll work closely with a dedicated team with streamlined processes. Export requests for chemical products come in via the client’s system, email, or myDSV. You get straight to work, aiming for the most efficient transport solution as quickly as possible and, of course, at a competitive price. You’re on it.

How do you do this? As a sea freight planner for chemicals, you ensure that everything is perfectly arranged, from bookings with shipping lines to organizing the necessary documentation and, finally, invoicing. You achieve this by:

• coordinating everything for chemical exports from A to Z, including bookings with shipping lines, customer service during delays or escalations, and invoicing;
• daily alignment with our major chemical clients on current shipments and new bookings that come in through various channels;
• strictly adhering to client requirements and preparing all necessary transport and loading documents.

You bring

• some experience in sea freight, preferably within export;
• strong command of both English and Dutch;
• experience with Excel, data processing, and invoicing. If you also have experience with systems like cargowise or similar, that’s a plus;
• a proactive attitude, both independently and within our team.
