And that’s for sure, because we are going to fully prepare you for the role of an import air freight forwarder. Like a wizard, you will ensure that our customers always find the right transport solution for any cargo. You will soon feel right at home in the world of air freight and become a logistics specialist for our customers. Yes! This means even more happy customers, and the best part is: you’re on it. 

How you do this? Simply by giving it your best. We will teach you how to book shipments, provide quotes, prepare freight and customs documents, and manage relationships. You will soon know your way around all airlines, agents, and carriers. You become indispensable to us and our customers. From junior forwarder to team lead, anything is possible when you put in the effort and are eager to learn. You achieve this by:
 

• processing incoming orders (in Cargowise) and converting them into import shipments; 
• booking import air freight shipments with airlines, agents, or carriers (possibly also organizing road transport); 
• preparing the necessary freight or customs documents; 
• monitoring booked shipments and updating customers on the status of their transport via phone and email; 
• invoicing of the dossiers and handling of claims.

You bring

• work experience in logistics, making you familiar with import or export flows;
• ambition: you are driven and eager to develop yourself further within DSV;
• you value humor and enjoy finding solutions, customer first;
• you speak and write Dutch (B1 level) and are proficient in English.
