Time Type: Full Time

Move forward as a Logistics Coordinator at DSV in Schiphol

Being responsible for the supply chain of international customers operating in the healthcare sector. You ensure that incoming goods are correctly received, process orders to prepare shipments for transport, and coordinate these tasks with warehouse colleagues. Working together with the healthcare team, you are customer-oriented and ensure the best logistical solutions. That's what you do!

You get it done

You are the eyes of the customer. Together with your colleagues in Rozenburg (in the office and warehouse), you ensure that all goods are transported safely and correctly, using various transportation modalities. From the DSV warehouse to wherever the shipment needs to go, you contribute to the process.

How do you do this? As a Logistics Coordinator, you work closely with your colleagues. You receive details about a shipment from your contact person at the customer. Your colleagues in the warehouse receive the goods, check them for quantities, damages, batch and material numbers, and documentation. Then, you ensure that all customer orders are entered into the warehouse management system (Boltrics). All certifications and documentation must be accurate! The shipments that need to be transported are prepared for shipping by colleagues in the warehouse. These colleagues also handle additional tasks, such as packaging the cargo in one of the possible thermo packaging options. You coordinate with the customer on which option to use. In the meantime, you keep the customer informed about the progress of other shipments. You achieve this by:

  • processing customer orders in the DSV system and informing colleagues what needs to be done;
  • addressing possible problems in a customer-oriented manner;
  • processing the inbound and outbound goods and planning thereof;
  • informing your contacts at the customer, via phone and email.

Your team stands out within DSV for its independence. You work closely with your three experienced colleagues who require little supervision.
