On a daily basis, you are the customer-focused team leader healthcare export who, together with your team, ensures the smooth handling of all export shipments of healthcare products. You are responsible for the operational activities within the team and act as the main point of contact for colleagues, customers and international branches should any questions or issues arise. Thanks to your management style, both job satisfaction and quality within the team are constantly improving. You’re on it.

How do you do this? As a team leader healthcare export, you will work closely with your team and support them by providing advice, guidance and solutions to operational issues. You will also liaise with clients on both operational and commercial matters and work closely with internal departments and international colleagues. On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for the operational and tactical management of your 
team. You achieve this by:

•    leading the healthcare export team and foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement to achieve shared objectives;
•    taking responsibility for the efficient, timely, and compliant handling of air freight shipments, ensuring critical deadlines, temperature requirements, and customer agreements are consistently met;
•    maintaining active communication with carriers, customers, business partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure optimal service, clear communication, and strong partnerships;
•    monitoring operational KPIs, financial performance, quality standards, and customer satisfaction, proactively steering performance to achieve operational and commercial targets;
•    coaching, motivate, and develop employees through strong people leadership, effectively guiding the team through change and process optimization.

You bring

• hbo level of working and thinking;
• at least 5 years’ work experience in freight forwarding, preferably in the field of export air freight;
• experience of managing or supervising colleagues in an operational environment;
•  good command of spoken and written Dutch and English.
