Purpose of the position

The Manager is responses on the warehouse operation in terms of managing the throughput; value added services and storage of product in the physical warehouse. This includes all equipment, people, processes and the regulatory framework required to ensure all warehouse targets are met and responsible for P & L of the department.

 

Key Tasks

Responsible

 

Control team drive archive company targets as below:

  • Plan and manage trucks to delivery on time.
  • Plan and manage container trucks to stuffing product send to export customers on time.
  • Receive product from suppliers to keep at warehouse correctly.
  • Control packing operation.
  • All packaging and consumable inventory control.
  • Storage planning and to increase percentage of warehouse space utilization.
  • Control container stuffing correctly.
  • Packaging inspection, analyst and corrective action.
  • Generate warehouse improvement plan and implement.
  • Control hold parts and monitor parts aging and find out solution to eliminate.
  • Monitor container utilization and analyst to increase percentage.
  • Control warehouse daily operation and PM all equipment.
  • Monitor warehouse stock accuracy, daily cycle count and maintain data transaction.
  • 5s and Kaizen activities improvement and maintain.
  • Set up KPIs for warehouse function and follow up result, investigate cause and corrective action.
  • Individual development all staffs with HR department by Gap analysis to improve staffs skills.
  • Analyst warehouse risk assessment and generate procedure to prevent risk point.
  • Forklift and equipment utilization control.
  • Settle organization to increase working efficiency.
  • Control staffs working follow as safety policy.
  • Ensure compliance with Food Defense requirements for all customer businesses to safeguard food products throughout the supply chain from intentional contamination.

 

Quality, Health, Safety & Environment

1. Implement QHSE Management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001) and associated arrangements.

2. Accountable for the supervision and monitoring of day-to-day QHSE activities.

3. Take precautions on QHSE and bringing concerns to the attention of management and the QHSE Manager.

4. Consultation and participation with employees and other parties on QHSE matters for continual improvement.

  • Comprehensive understanding of customer requirements in terms of information flow, transportation, warehousing and inventory management
  • Solid customer service competence

  • Effective business administration competence
  • I.T. literacy: MS Office and SAP
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing is an advantage.
  • Familiar with warehousing environment at the international level

Educational background / Work experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Logistics management, Business Administration or Engineering
  • 3-5 years Management or Supervisory level experience in either the production/manufacturing or logistics field is required. A must to have experiences in Project Management and Logistics

 

 

Language skills

 

  • Fluent English: spoken and written skills are required to efficiently communicate with international clients and colleagues

 

Computer literacy

                                                

  • Computer Literacy MS Office skills
  • Warehouse Management System
