Main Purpose of the Role:
To manage the people, clients, and deliverables of the branch, ensuring that it is aligned with the overall objectives of the organization and that company resources are optimally utilized to achieve operational and financial targets of DSV Solutions Durban site.
Job Related Requirements:
- Grade 12 certificate
- Diploma or Degree in Transport, Logistics or Supply Chain, and/or Business Management/Administration will be an advantage
- Minimum of 4 years management experience.
- Minimum of 3 years people management experience.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the following areas;
- Operations management
- Industrial Relations
- Customer / Client relationship management
- Transport management
- 3 years budgeting and financial controls experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the LRA and BCEA Industrial Relations
- Self-motivated and assertive
- Good communication skills
- Ability to manage and develop team skills and leadership
- Ability to implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Own vehicle with valid driver’s license.
