Move forward as IT Support Engineer at DSV in Schiphol
IT, hardware and customer support. You keep it all running. Do you enjoy variety and get energized by technology, with an affinity for logistics? At DSV, you work with demo equipment, configure and test hardware, support customers with IT-related questions, and handle returned equipment. As an IT Support Engineer, no two days are the same! Want to be challenged? Team up with us. DSV.

You get it done
As an IT support engineer, you will combine technology, IT and logistics in one varied role. You will configure and test demo equipment, make sure everything is ready for our customers and provide IT support whenever needed. Also you will handle returned equipment by checking, processing and preparing it for the next request. In short, you keep the entire process running smoothly and make sure our customers can rely on high-quality, fully functional equipment. Together, we make sure everything works as it should: You’re on it.

How you do this? As an IT support engineer, you willl work with everything related to IT and demo equipment. From configuring and testing laptops, tablets and servers to supporting customers and checking returned equipment. You make sure everything works and ends up where it needs to be. You achieve this by:

  • preparing demo equipment for shipment and checking, processing and returning equipment to available stock;
  • managing demo requests from start to finish and making sure the right equipment reaches the customer on time;
  • supporting the logistics process by carefully packing, labeling and shipping equipment;
  • working with customers to confirm technical requirements and configurations, while coordinating with internal teams to ensure the right equipment is available and ready to use;
  • performing technical checks and diagnostics, building, configuring and thoroughly testing laptops, desktops, servers and other IT equipment;
  • providing remote and on-site support to customers and colleagues during demos, events and customer projects.

Your team stands out within DSV by its short lines of communication, technical expertise and hands-on mentality. You will work alongside three colleagues who, just like you, are passionate about hardware and high-tech. Together, you make sure demo equipment works perfectly, returned equipment is processed correctly and shipments leave on time. Practical, hands-on and always ready to get the job done, while having fun along the way.
