The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the organization, scheduling of staff, and directing of the warehouse on a day-to-day basis.  This position adjusts schedules as necessary in both shipping and receiving areas, responsible for warehouse scratch rates, order accuracy and productivity levels. The Warehouse Manager is responsible to coordinate warehouse activities in a Seveso environment reporting into the Site Manager, and trains warehouse personnel to ensure a well-coordinated shipping and receiving plan. 



  • Responsible for the daily scheduling of warehouse personnel to ensure proper staffing in order to select and receive products at the facility in a productive and cost-efficient manner.
  • You will lead a team of +- 140  employees (fixed & temporary)
  • The Shift Coordinators will report directly to you
  • Directs the day-to-day activities of the warehouse.  Such activities include shipping, receiving, sanitation, maintenance, inventory control, Value added services etc.
  • Responsible for directing the inventory control supervisor as to out of stocks, receiving errors, selection errors, and warehouse slotting of products.
  • Generates warehouse productivity reports of selection rates, receiving rates, and accounts for all labour hours, both direct and indirect.  Adheres to budget requirements and works toward obtaining objectives and site goals.
  • Ensures that the warehouse personnel have safe and efficient equipment in order to perform the various functions.
  • Responsible for warehouse safety programs in order to provide a safe and clean workplace for employees and within the regulations of all OSHA local and state regulations.
  • Recommends equipment requirements and replacements in order to upgrade and maintain warehouse productivity and efficiency.
  • Responsible for training, performance management, and discipline within the warehouse and together with your piers for the safety and discipline on the site.



  • You are highly educated and have several years of experience as a Warehouse Manager in a Multi-Customer environment
  • You have a strong experience in working with social partners.
  • You speak fluently EN, FR & NL
  • You are a fluent, diplomatic communicator with excellent people skills and a problem solver
  • You can quickly and coherently form a picture of complex problems
  • You know how to bring forward structural solutions, taking into account the interests of all stakeholders.
  • You know how to obtain the necessary support for the successful implementation of new processes or decisions.
  • You have a thorough knowledge of MS Office and have experience with a WMS.
  • You are a strong leader and very stress resilient
  • You are able to function in a multi-disciplinary team and you can be a key member of the site management team.
