[Purpose of the position]
The Strategic Sourcing Manager is responsible for managing the strategic/tactical procurement activities within the cluster and specifically for Korea.
This role focuses on executing sourcing activities including supplier identification, managing requests for quotes (RFQs), bid evaluation, contract negotiation, and awarding and managing established supplier relations.
The Strategic Sourcing Manager works closely with internal stakeholders to meet operational needs while optimizing costs, quality, and supplier performance. He/she reports into the Head of Procurement, Asia Pacific.
[Key Responsibilities]
Strategic Sourcing & End-to-End Procurement
. Manage RFQ/RFP, supplier selection, negotiation, and purchasing processes
. Execute procurement activities in compliance with company policies
. Drive supplier consolidation and procurement optimization
Supplier & Contract Management
. Manage supplier relationships, pricing, and contract negotiations
. Conduct supplier evaluations and performance management
. Handle contract lifecycle management including renewals and compliance
Stakeholder Collaboration & Operations Support
. Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Regional/Global Procurement teams
. Support procurement process improvements and operational efficiency
. Communicate procurement strategies and operating model changes internally
Data Analysis & Operational Support
. Analyze procurement data, supplier performance, and cost-saving opportunities
. Prepare procurement KPI reports
. Support invoice handling, claim management, and outsourcing operations
[Requirements]
. Fluency in English and Korean (essential for regional APAC collaboration)
. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, SCM, Logistics, or a related field.
. Proven experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Supply Chain Management.
. Strong commercial negotiation, interpersonal, and multi-tasking skills.
. Solid data-driven analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

. Experience in logistics, supply chain, or multinational environments
. Familiarity with procurement outsourcing models and transformation projects
. Experience with TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) analysis and procurement systems
