Do you want to make a difference for your customers and for DSV? As a Key Account Manager, you combine commercial insight with relationship management and work every day on revenue growth, new opportunities, and customer satisfaction within an international organization.

You identify commercial opportunities and use your knowledge and skills to turn them into successful deals. You visit customers, from existing clients to new prospects, and translate their needs into smart solutions: you’re on it.
How you do this? As an account manager, you are responsible for actively developing and managing your own customer portfolio in the South-East Netherlands region. You work closely with operational managers to deliver customer-focused, tailor-made solutions while simultaneously building a strong network, both within DSV and with your customers. You identify commercial opportunities, translate them into proposals, and proactively follow them up to increase both revenue and customer satisfaction. Through the new business team, you will receive new clients in your portfolio and develop them into valuable, long-term relationships.
In addition, you make an important contribution to strategic growth by creating account plans and gathering relevant market information to validate your strategies. You ensure that all account information is correctly and completely recorded in our sales information systems, enabling you to provide the right insights and support decision-making both internally and externally.. You achieve this by:
- building and maintaining strong customer relationships and managing stakeholders effectively, both internally and externally;
- proactively identifying and capitalizing on commercial opportunities;
- preparing and following up on account plans, quotations, and quarterly business reviews to realize the commercial strategy;
- collecting and analyzing relevant market information to validate account plans and identify opportunities;
- ensuring accurate and complete reporting of all account information in our sales information systems, so decisions are made based on the correct data.

You bring
- a completed bachelor’s degree (HBO level), preferably in a commercial field;
- experience in an external commercial/sales role, preferably within transport or logistics;
- excellent command of both Dutch and English;
- strong commercial insight and the drive to combine customer satisfaction with revenue growth.
