In this role, you will work closely with both IT and business experts. Daily, you will solve challenging IT issues and contribute to DSV's continued growth and automation. You're on it.

How you do this? As an IT specialist at DSV, you will work closely with both IT and business experts to ensure optimal business operations and compliance with DSV's IT standards. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting IT solutions, including managing the IT server environment, process automation and software development. You will also contribute to database maintenance and optimization and be involved in ensuring IT security and compliance. You play an essential role in supporting the processes in the European Control Tower, where your skills in VBA and other IT tools are crucial. By proactively solving problems and contributing to continuous optimization, you will help improve the efficiency and effectiveness of DSV's logistics operations.

You get this done by:

• ensure safe and stable operation of the IT server environment, including implementing changes when necessary;
• automate and optimize processes using VBA programming and other tools;
• actively contribute to software development, with a focus on using C# and maintaining databases with SQL;
• ensure compliance with IT guidelines, including documentation security and IT security;
• proactively troubleshoot and continuously strive to optimize servers, software robots and other IT systems within the company.

You bring

• relevant training and concrete experience in software development, especially with C# and VBA;
• experience with SQL and databases;
• knowledge of IT infrastructure and applications;
• interest and skill in digitalisation and automation;
• excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English, both oral and written.
