In this department, you work at the heart of the international playing field where data, strategy and commerce come together. Every tender you complete directly contributes to our global success: you’re on it.

How you do this? You receive new global road tenders based on your expertise, experience and availability. From the moment a tender arrives, you examine the tender documentation and translate the international customer requirements into a clear and feasible tender plan. As these tenders span multiple countries, you closely analyse the requested transport flows and involve the relevant countries to gather targeted input. You carefully assess the information you receive for completeness, consistency and accuracy, ensuring a solid foundation for creating a strong commercial proposal. Throughout this process, you consult regularly with the global sales lead to define an appropriate strategic approach.

In this role, you act as the connecting link between the global organisation and the local teams. You manage the full tender planning, coordinate communication with all participating countries and process customer feedback in a structured manner. You communicate professionally across various organisational levels and ensure that every stakeholder has visibility on the progress and next actions. As the central point of contact, you safeguard that DSV can participate in international tenders in a consistent, accurate and competitive way. You achieve this by:

• analysing tender requirements and translating customer needs into a clear tender plan;
• gathering, checking and validating input from all involved countries;
• calculating transport rates and preparing accurate and competitive commercial offers;
• registering and managing all tender data in Microsoft Dynamics (CRM);
• acting as the single point of contact for both the customer and internal teams throughout the entire tender process.

You bring

• at least 3 years of relevant work experience in road transport;
• a passion for the profession, which you convey convincingly to colleagues, preferably supported by a higher professional education (HBO) degree in logistics or business administration;
• excellent analytical skills combined with strong communication abilities, enabling you to operate effectively at all levels within the organisation;
• advanced knowledge of Excel and other data-processing systems, allowing you to quickly and efficiently master new software;
• accuracy, resilience under pressure and excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written, ensuring tenders are always submitted to customers on time and correctly.
