Developing and enhancing our Groupage Cross Dock Terminals for our locations across Europe: You’re on it.

How you do this? As a Logistics Engineer Cross Dock, you translate strategic plans into actionable solutions that directly impact our European locations. You will frequently travel to various sites across Europe to analyse and improve processes on location. In doing so, you will collaborate closely with local teams and stakeholders to ensure that solutions are not only efficient but also aligned with local needs.

Using a digital twin of our terminals, you identify improvement areas and implement changes that optimize workflows and reduce costs. You closely monitor and coordinate our standardization and ‘right-sizing’ projects to ensure their successful rollout in collaboration with teams across Europe.

In this role, you work intensively with internal and external stakeholders. By maintaining strong connections with colleagues from various countries, you ensure new processes align with organizational needs and meet all regulatory and quality standards. Innovation is central, and you continuously seek new technologies and creative solutions to elevate our terminals to the next level.. You achieve this by:

• developing and implementing strategies for Cross Dock processes and structures;
• optimising workflows with digital tools to increase efficiency and reduce costs;
• monitoring and coordinating our standardization and ‘right-sizing’ projects;
• collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to meet regulatory and quality standards.

Your team stands out within DSV by its strong focus on collaboration and innovation. It consists of 23 driven professionals working from offices in Denmark, the Netherlands, and Germany. Although the team is international, it maintains a close-knit and collegial atmosphere where knowledge and ideas are freely shared. Together, you contribute to the realization of our European Groupage Network strategy for 2027.

You bring

• at least 5 years of experience in transport and logistics; 
• knowledge of Cross Dock processes, TMS, routing, and the development of SOPs;
• experience in implementing new structures and innovations;
• a hands-on mentality and excellent communication skills in English.
