You get it done
As a TMS process specialist at DSV, you are jointly responsible for managing, monitoring, and resolving issues within our TMS. Additionally, you support the entire organisation, act as the key link between local system administrators and global administrators and liaise with the supplier to ensure an optimally functioning TMS. You’re on it.

 

As a process specialist TMS, you investigate and resolve system discrepancies, translate business needs into functional solutions, and support new customer implementations and system optimizations. You actively work on improving the efficiency, usability, and effectiveness of the TMS. Acting as a knowledge base and advisor within a global managed system perspective, you collaborate with various specialists and communicate complex solutions in an understandable way. You achieve this by:

 

  • investigating and resolving system discrepancies in collaboration with local specialists;
  • supporting new customer implementations, systematic setups, and carrier integrations in our transport management system SCE (Supply Chain Execution);
  • evaluating and improving workflows within the team and your own tasks;
  • contributing to and designing reports and functional configurations, including EDI and API.

 

Your team stands out within DSV for its expertise and collaboration across multiple disciplines, such as transport, warehousing, and IT. Together, you act as true bridge builders, translating operational needs into functional system solutions. You collectively ensure a high-performing TMS that enhances efficiency and customer satisfaction.

You bring

  • bachelor's level education or equivalent work and thinking level, complemented by two years of relevant work experience in logistics, business analytics, or a similar role;
  • knowledge of transport and warehouse processes, with experience in TMS and/ or WMS systems being essential;
  • basic knowledge of EDI and API is a plus, as is experience with VBA and/ or SQL;
  • strong analytical skills and a systematic mindset;
  • proficiency in Dutch and English.
