Move forward as Project Trainer at DSV in Venlo

Do you enjoy working in an international environment, thrive on variety and get energy from guiding people through change? As a project trainer at DSV Contract Logistics, you play a key role in international projects, helping employees successfully adopt new ways of working and systems.

You get it done

As a project trainer, you are enthusiastic to contribute to international implementation and improvement projects within DSV. You deliver training sessions on site at our warehouses across Europe and support projects where our WMS is newly implemented or where sites transition to this system: you’re on it.

How you do this? You work closely with operations managers, project teams and fellow trainers. You are responsible for organizing, planning and delivering training sessions within a project context. This requires flexibility, independence and strong communication skills. You achieve this by:

  • delivering standard and project-based training sessions focused on the WMS and operational processes on site;
  • adapting training materials to the process and context of each site;
  • managing and facilitating training groups ranging from twenty to seventy participants;
  • coordinating with local stakeholders, such as operations managers;
  • guiding employees through change and the adoption of new ways of working.

Your team stands out within DSV as an international Training & Change Management team within DSV Contract Logistics. Together, you work on projects across the globe, with collaboration, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement at the core.

We are DSV, we grow

DSV is a global provider of transport and logistics services. With offices in more than 90 countries and a growing network of partners, there is no place in the world we cannot reach via transport by air, sea, rail, courier or road or where we can offer storage in warehouses.

“You continuously work in new contexts with colleagues worldwide, sometimes familiar, sometimes new. As a Project Trainer, you actively contribute to various projects and guide people through change by making new ways of working concrete and practical. The freedom and variety in this role require courage but also provide a lot of energy and room to grow,” says Carlijn Molin, Training Specialist.

In the Netherlands, we operate from over 40 branches, with more than 5,000 colleagues. Together we rise to the challenge of a rapidly changing environment. We make quick decisions at every level and combine ambition and teamwork. This is how we move forward and make a difference together.

You bring

  • a bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in supply chain, business administration, hospitality or a similar field;
  • preferably one to two years of experience in project-based work or delivering training sessions;
  • knowledge of Learning & Development and training programs;
  • strong planning and organizational skills;
  • excellent command of the English language at C1 or C2 level (other European language is an advantage);
  • a valid driving license B and willingness to travel fifty to seventy percent of the time within Europe.

It all counts for this vacancy of project trainer in Venlo. Furthermore, it is of course important that you feel at home with us. That will certainly be possible if you like to keep going, have guts and want to grow with DSV.
