Move forward as Senior Project Manager Europe at DSV in Venlo

Looking for a challenge where the world is at your feet? As a senior project manager, you’ll work with multidisciplinary project teams across the globe, implementing innovative solutions that take our services to new heights. A global role with a focus on EMEA is waiting for you!

You get it done

Working in our European Operations Team means making an impact by streamlining processes and implementing changes for both clients and DSV itself: you’re on it.

How you do this? As a senior project manager Europe, you’ll lead multidisciplinary teams working on international projects across various DSV locations. You’ll play a key role in guiding and coordinating processes, ensuring efficient and effective implementations.

You’ll also manage project and change management, creating clear strategies and objectives. You’ll guide the team through each project phase, continuously monitoring whether the desired changes are being implemented and maintained. To successfully implement these changes, you’ll develop and facilitate targeted training for employees, ensuring new processes and systems are sustainable and effectively applied. You achieve this by:

  • taking on your role as a leader, taking responsibility and having the drive and ability to deliver;
  • planning and monitoring assigned projects according to our project management methodology, based on Prince2;
  • leading workshops and facilitating clients, our operations, and IT to define requirements and processes;
  • being able to identify, assess, and manage risks and issues, challenging our project teams and project board members;
  • creating transparency about status, tasks, and issues for stakeholders through reporting and established project management, such as team and board meetings.

Your team stands out within DSV by the international character, working with colleagues and stakeholders from all over the world. Despite different time zones, cultures, and languages, the team always successfully delivers projects according to predefined requirements.

We are DSV, we grow

DSV is a global provider of transport and logistics services. With offices in more than 90 countries and a growing network of partners, there is no place in the world we cannot reach via transport by air, sea, rail, courier or road or where we can offer storage in warehouses.

You’ll have the opportunity to make an impact, implement innovative solutions, and work with diverse teams that bring real change, says Danny Zink, Senior Manager Project Management.

You bring

  • at least 5 years of experience as a project manager in an international logistics environment, with a proven track record in managing large, complex projects. You’re also Prince2 (or equivalent) certified, or willing to learn more about it;
  • experience in contract logistics, preferably in an international context;
  • a bachelor's or master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field;
  • strong communication skills, a structured approach to work, and excellent organisational and presentation skills;
