As team leader transport planning groupage, you, along with the senior team lead, are responsible for the coordination, preparation, and guidance of all logistical activities within our Germany team at DSV. Your joint goal is to achieve agreed service levels within the allocated budgets and, of course, at the right price-quality ratio. You’re on it.

How do you do this? The job title might give it away. As team leader transport planning groupage for our Germany team, you ensure that your team members are empowered. On one hand, you are the department's go-to person, and on the other hand, you occasionally roll up your sleeves and work alongside them. In short, you ensure a good distribution of work and a positive working atmosphere in the department, ultimately resulting in satisfied customers, both internally and externally. You achieve this by:
•    planning work, ensuring an efficient workflow, and maintaining proper staffing;
•    managing and checking financial flows;

•    timely identifying occasional and structural disruptions within the process, with immediate consideration of possible solutions. Which helps you build and maintain long-term customer and partner relationships;
•    operationally contributing to the department and assisting where necessary.

Your team stands out at DSV because, as a small and close-knit group, you successfully manage the many line hauls departing daily to Germany. Whether it's shipments to Krefeld, Aschaffenburg, Schwieberdingen, Nuremberg, Westerkappeln, or Hamburg, your team's efficient organization of these groupage shipments plays an essential role in our road transport division.

You bring

•    passion for the profession. You know how to convey your passion and enthusiasm for transport and logistics to others;
•    some experience in a leadership role, such as a senior transport planner, assistant team leader, or similar;
•    good communication skills, decisiveness, and the ability to see the bigger picture;
•    proficiency in Dutch, German, and English.
