Move forward as Training Specialist at DSV in Venlo
Help us enhance the knowledge of our Warehouse Management System (WMS) within DSV Solutions and prepare operations for upcoming changes. This is the only way we can continuously improve.
You get it done
As a training specialist, you contribute to training our employees by delivering sessions at various locations worldwide and online. You’re on it.
How do you do this? You start with an induction process, where you spend the first few weeks studying materials and shadowing colleagues during their training sessions. After that, you will take the lead and conduct your first training sessions after a few weeks. You will achieve this by:
- conducting training sessions on-site and online in Europe, America and elsewhere in the world;
- continuously improving and updating training materials;
- organizing training sessions and coordinating with local branches;
- collaborating with engineering and testing training programs.
Your team stands out within DSV due to its international nature. With colleagues spread worldwide, you manage to maintain close collaboration. This, combined with a focus on continuous improvement, helps you contribute to DSV's future. Not just in Europe, but globally. How exciting is that!
We are DSV, we grow

Experience different cultures, explore the world, and contribute to DSV's future? This is your chance, says Femke Hamers, Senior Manager, Training & Change Management.
In the Netherlands, we operate from over 25 branches, with more than 3,000 colleagues. Together we rise to the challenge of a rapidly changing environment. We make quick decisions at every level and combine ambition and teamwork. This is how we move forward and make a difference together.
You bring
- bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in supply chain, business economics, engineering, or a similar field, supplemented with 1 to 2 years of experience in the supply chain/logistics sector;
- excellent command of the English language. If you also speak some other languages, that’s a plus;
- excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills. Additionally, you possess a strong personality and adaptability;
- ability to understand processes, quickly grasp systems, and have good knowledge of MS Office;
- last but not least, you are eager to travel abroad regularly to conduct training sessions.
It all counts for this vacancy of training specialist in Venlo. Furthermore, it is of course important that you feel at home with us. That will certainly be possible if you like to keep going, have guts and want to grow with DSV.
