Air Import Freight Forwarder 
Shannon
Mon-Fri, 09.00-17.30, 37.5 hours per week 
€30.000-€45.000 per annum 

Are you ready to keep global supply chains moving? As an Air Import Freight Forwarder at DSV, you ensure inbound shipments move smoothly from arrival to final delivery. Your role has a real impact – combining operational accuracy, compliance, and strong customer service.

What will you be doing?

•    Manage air import shipments end-to-end, from arrival to delivery 
•    Coordinate with airlines, agents, transport providers, and warehouses 
•    Arrange delivery and ensure timely cargo release 
•    Handle customs documentation and ensure compliance with import regulations 
•    Review shipment documents such as invoices, packing lists, and airway bills 
•    Be the main contact for customers, providing updates and resolving issues 
•    Ensure accurate system updates, milestone tracking, and billing support 

About you

•    Have experience in air freight forwarding, ideally imports 
•    Understand customs procedures and documentation 
•    You are detail-oriented, organised, and manage multiple shipments effectively 
•    Communicate clearly and work well with customers and teams 
•    Confident using systems such as CargoWise and Microsoft Office
