Role: Contract Manager – Cloud, ECT, Control Tower, Road
Location: Shannon, Co Clare
Hours: 37.5hr
We are seeking a highly skilled and commercially aware Contract Manager to join our EMEA Control Tower (ECT) team. In this role, you will act as a key link between our Cloud customer operations, global stakeholders, and local teams, ensuring the highest levels of process governance, customer satisfaction, and operational alignment. You will drive continuous improvement, manage escalations, support solution design, and play an active role in introducing new business lanes into the operation.
What will you be doing?

Act as an integral member of the EMEA Control Tower while providing dedicated support to local operations.

Ensure the effective implementation of standardised processes, best practices, and governance across the account.

Support the execution of initiatives within Contract Management to drive operational performance improvements.

Review and refine customer‑related topics to continually meet and exceed customer expectations.

Participate in solution design and strategic discussions with ECT and commercial teams.

Lead the seamless integration and go‑live of new business lanes, ensuring full compliance with contractual and operational standards.

Develop and deliver customer‑specific action plans with the ECT team and stakeholders.

Manage and resolve customer escalations, ensuring timely action and contract adherence.

Prepare and present monthly pipeline overviews, outlining progress, risks, and opportunities.

Conduct customer analysis to identify performance trends, improvement areas, and value‑creation opportunities.

Build and maintain strong internal relationships to support strategic alignment across all DSV divisions.
About You

Strong expertise in freight transport and end‑to‑end logistics.

Ability to analyse complex customer setups and interpret strategic expectations.

Skilled at identifying innovative, value‑adding solutions that enhance the customer experience.

Results‑oriented with a strong focus on financial optimisation and cost management.
Personal Competencies:

Experienced professional with either strong operational expertise and commercial acumen, or a strong commercial background supported by operational knowledge.

Confident engaging with senior leaders, with the ability to communicate transparently and constructively.

Skilled in navigating complex stakeholder environments and resolving conflicts of interest.

Clear and effective communicator internally and with customers.

Strong decision‑maker who can stand firm while remaining open to alternative viewpoints.

Proficient in MS Office tools including PowerPoint, Power BI, Excel, and more — able to present data and insights effectively.
