We are looking for a Customer Operations Specialist to join our Control Tower team. This role is essential in ensuring full visibility and control of orders and shipments, delivering exceptional customer communication, and supporting operational performance across the supply chain. You will play a key part in ensuring service levels are met, administrative processes are completed accurately, and customer satisfaction is consistently achieved.
What will you be doing?
• Ensure full visibility and control of customer orders and shipments across the supply chain.
• Communicate with customers professionally, providing timely updates and handling queries effectively.
• Manage responsibilities in line with service levels, KPIs, SOPs, and cost/revenue parameters.
• Complete administrative tasks accurately, including file opening, invoicing, customs documentation, and system data entry.
• Maintain and manage in‑transit reports with a high level of accuracy.
• Support proactive information sharing across suppliers, carriers, and third‑party logistics partners.
• Identify and escalate early warning alerts to resolve potential supply chain disruptions.
• Contribute actively to departmental, branch, and company goals.
• Build and maintain strong internal relationships with Air Freight teams, Commercial, Finance, HR, and Brokerage.
• Engage professionally with external stakeholders including airlines, agents, overseas offices, and customers.
About you
• Experience in office administration and customer service, ideally within logistics or distribution
• Confident using data management systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Highly organised with strong planning skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Able to deliver tasks and projects accurately and on time
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a practical, solutions-focused approach
• Solid understanding of operational processes and a flexible attitude to support different functions
• Clear communicator with a strong focus on customer service and relationship building
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy
• Proactive, adaptable, and able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Eager to learn and continuously develop
