Role Summary

The Data Integration Engineer is responsible for creating a centralized master data set for P6 Logistics Qualities including SKU catalogues, Pre-PO Project PSR’s mapping, Logistics Estimation Submissions, Logistics Purchase Order Volumes, Contractor ERP (SAP or Oracle) data, eDC shipment volume tracking integration. Knowledge of SQL data base, ASP.NET, API’s, Full stack environments, Azure, development and deployment environments, EPC Procurement & logistics for Project Construction Materials is essential.   

 This role is required to work with the various solutions architects within the various planning and project functions to consolidate business wide data for the purpose of consistency, efficiency and real time reporting.
Accountable for ensuring a efficient centralized data environment is developed and maintained in a documented and auditable, and controlled manner. 

 

Responsibilities

Acts as the focal point for centralization of project data and identifying areas of best practice and driving continuous improvement within the Planning team.
Project Planning: Develop comprehensive data model for centralizing Project Logistics data in collaboration with the central planning team and Regional Project Planning Managers for the purpose of robust Logistics Volumes forecasting, including Construction Packages, resource loaded Logistics Volumes, Procurement Timelines, resource loaded Estimation Volumes, resource loaded Volumes Secured with PO, Actual Volumes against the packages. Review and maintain planning control structures are developed and maintained in alignment with approved project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). Review and maintain baseline project plans through project lifecycle using Primavera P6, assess and communicate schedule impact of change notifications.
Stakeholder Management: Liaise weekly updates and reviews with the Central and Regional Project Planning Managers to analyze data quality, and impact of project plans and schedules on business requirements. Liaise with Solution Architects, Central Planning Manager, Cost management, Estimating, finance, Power Bi reporting specialist, Company system integration specialists.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and proactively address issues to ensure smooth project execution and minimize disruptions to road freight operations.
Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, provide guidance, assign tasks, and foster a collaborative work environment to achieve project goals.
Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures and monitor adherence to operational standards, compliance requirements, and industry regulations.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor overall project progress status, achievement of major milestones, and evaluate performance in relation to planned performance. Establish project performance metrics, track progress, generate reports, and provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, milestones, and key performance indicators.
Continuous Improvement: Identify process improvement opportunities, drive operational efficiency, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance road freight operations, reduce costs, and optimize service delivery.
Industry Knowledge: Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in road freight operations to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.  
 

Educational Qualifications & Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, data science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
 

Competencies

Proven experience in planning management within the EPC project management industry.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, Excel, C# Programming, ASP.NET, Full stack environments,  Azure, Windows Server development and deployment environments, Penetration Testing, Micro services Architecture, Oracle and SAP integration, Logistics Freight Forwarder Integration (eDC API), Catalog Management & Requisition BOQ, EPC Material Procurement Steps
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
