General Responsibilities
- Support the Sales/BDM and satisfy the needs of locally secured DSV customers. This includes supporting, maintaining and developing the corporation and services extended to current customers as well as supporting the commercial team in winning new business opportunities.
- Furthermore to support the sales/BD with quotations, follow-up, keep a close dialog with customer, sales and the DSV network overseas.
- The aim is to provide excellent Sales Support, to help Sales secure and develop business for the company and to work closely with the DSV Network, Operations and Product Specialists.
- Sales Coordinator is expected to have a very close dialog with customers and understand their requirements and hereby proactively deliver a high level of service.
Detailed Responsibilities
- Service the locally controlled customers - this being New as well as Existing – on a day to day basis.
- Quote sales’ customers and align with Sales, TLMs and TLMs ensuring DSV provides competitive solutions.
- Proactively provide assistance and advice to our customers – visit customers together with sales as needed.
- Effectively assist in problem resolution. Handling customer complaints or any major incidents proactively.
- Support to develop new business opportunities from our existing customers
- Work with product managers, sales managers and TLM/BD managers to align expectation.
- Ability to communicate industry related information to people outside our industry
- Actively participate in internal “Team-Meetings” reviewing daily challenges and opportunities
- Follow up routing order / instruction / IOP
- Ensure relative regular reports are done according to standard operation procedures such as KPI report (if required), CCS report
- Coordinate with related departments to ensure all available documents will be released to customer if the customer’s request matches company’s rules.
- Update SOP together with Sales/BD
Communications
- Internal : Operation, Business Units, Finance and Quality, etc.
- External : Existing customers, Potential customers.
Education & Working Experience
- College’s degree or higher (major in related is preferable)
- Proven experience in sales, customer service, account management, or a related field, with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- High level of professionalism and an ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
- Proficient in business management tools.
- Good English verbal, reading and writing communication skills.
