About the Position:

The Director, WMS Migration plays a crucial leadership role in supporting the COO office led Global Migration Programme. This position is accountable for driving the planning and execution of transitions from legacy warehouse management platforms to the strategic target WMS landscape across the APAC region.

The role also serves as the primary regional lead for WMS migration initiatives, partnering with Business, Operations, and CL IT stakeholders to deliver migration objectives across multiple countries and sites. It is responsible for driving alignment, managing programme risks and dependencies, and ensuring successful adoption of strategic WMS platforms while maintaining operational stability and delivering long term business value.


Tasks & Responsibilities:

Migration Strategy & Delivery
Lead the planning and execution of the regional WMS migration roadmap, ensuring migration priorities align with business value, contractual commitments, operational impact, technical complexity and strategic objectives
Establish and maintain migration standards, governance frameworks, and delivery approaches in alignment with global WMS strategy, CLPA methodology, and enterprise architecture principles

Programme Leadership
Lead the end-to-end delivery of WMS migration initiatives across multiple countries, ensuring successful execution of migration waves and achievement of programme objectives
Manage programme risks, dependencies, and interdependencies across WMS, integrations, infrastructure, data, automation, reporting, and operational workstreams

Stakeholder and Governance Management
Act as the primary regional lead for WMS migration initiatives, partner with global, regional, and local stakeholders across Business/Operations, BCM, and CL IT
Provide programme governance, executive reporting, and strategic recommendations to leadership teams to support informed decision-making and delivery success
Drive timely escalation and resolution of critical programme challenges

Resource & Financial Management
Work with country and functional leaders to prioritise resources, manage delivery capacity, and ensure effective utilisation of programme budgets and investments
Balance competing priorities and drive alignment across multiple migration initiatives to achieve agreed business outcomes

Business Readiness & Change Management
Drive business readiness, change management, and operational transition activities to support successful adoption of target WMS platforms
Ensure migration activities minimise operational disruption while delivering standardisation, simplification, and long-term business benefits


Key Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience leading large-scale IT, supply chain, logistics, or business transformation programmes, with a proven track record of delivering transformation initiatives
  • Strong experience in WMS implementation, migration, or supply chain technology programmes, preferably within logistics, contract logistics, or warehouse operations environments
  • Demonstrated success leading regional or global programmes involving multiple countries, stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams, with the ability to drive alignment and delivery across diverse organisations
  • Strong executive stakeholder management, and communication skills
  • Relevant industry and professional qualifications, such as experience with Infor WMS, BY WMS, or similar enterprise platforms, supported by recognised programme and change management certifications (e.g. PMP, PgMP, Prosci, or equivalent)
