Director, Lead of Sustainability, Contract Logistics, Asia Pacific

• Lead and execute DSV’s Sustainability Strategy across APAC, ensuring alignment with the Group roadmap and driving measurable progress towards decarbonization, renewable energy adoption, and operations
• Validate and challenge country’s sustainability data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and credibility in all internal and external reporting, as the regional sustainability ambassador and governance lead.
• Develop and manage the regional carbon fund framework, overseeing project applications, approvals, and performance tracking to maximize both environmental impact and business value.

Key Tasks:

1. Strategic Leadership and Roadmap Execution
•    Develop and execute the DSV APAC Sustainability Roadmap, aligning with global priorities and regional business objectives.
•    Translate group ambitions (Net Zero, renewable energy, circular economy) into actionable programs with clear targets.
•    Lead country sustainability ambassador to integrate sustainability into operational excellence, procurement, and commercial strategies, promote awareness and create accountability measurement.
2. Data Integrity and Governance
•    Oversee the regional sustainability data framework, ensuring completeness, consistency, and traceability across all reporting entities.
•    Validate and challenge data submissions (GHG, energy, waste, water, etc.) to ensure credibility in both internal and external information.
•    Partner with global teams or external consultants to strengthen digital reporting systems and improve automation of sustainability performance tracking.
3. Carbon and Green Funds Management
•    Define and operationalize the process to apply for, manage, and track carbon funds for APAC sustainability initiatives.
•    Evaluate project proposals, ensure alignment with funding criteria, and monitor outcomes for both environmental and financial returns.
4. Monetizing Sustainability and Commercial Integration
•    Develop models to monetize sustainability, including carbon credits, green logistics offerings, and customer co-investment partnerships.
•    Define strategic roadmap to improve energy, water usage and work with partners to optimize costs.
•    Serve as the central sustainability contact for regional RFQ/RFP enquiries, ensuring that customer bids reflect accurate and compelling sustainability credentials.
5. Stakeholder Engagement and Representation
•    Represent DSV APAC in sustainability forums, industry roundtables, and government partnerships (e.g., EDB, NEA, sustainability councils).
•    Build relationships with regulators, funding bodies, and innovation partners to drive joint sustainability programs.
•    Promote internal and external communication of DSV’s sustainability achievements to strengthen brand reputation.
