Purpose of Position

The P&O Specialist reports to the People & Organisation Business Partner and provides operational support across the employee lifecycle. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality P&O services, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and supporting people initiatives that enhance the employee experience. The successful candidate will work closely with employees, managers, and cross-functional teams to support talent acquisition, onboarding, payroll administration, employee engagement, performance management, and compliance with Singapore employment legislation.

 

Key Tasks

  • Support the P&O Business Partner in delivering people initiatives aligned with business and organisational objectives.
  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities, including job postings, interview scheduling, offer preparation, and onboarding.
  • Administer onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a seamless employee experience.
  • Prepare employment contracts, confirmation letters, and other employee-related documentation.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity within the HRIS.
  • Support monthly payroll by preparing payroll inputs, leave records, attendance, and employee claims.
  • Administer employee benefits, insurance, and leave programmes.
  • Respond to employees' enquiries on P&O policies, procedures, and benefits, escalating complex matters where appropriate.
  • Support performance management, learning and development, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and Singapore employment legislation.
  • Prepare regular people reports, dashboards, and HR metrics to support decision-making.
  • Participate in P&O projects, process improvements, and other initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the P&O Business Partner.

 

Experience & Education

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of HR generalist experience.
  • Experience supporting a logistics, supply chain, transportation, or multinational environment will be advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore employment legislation and HR best practices.
  • Experience managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and organisational development activities.
  • Proficient in HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
