Purpose

Provides operational support on full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment and selection, on-boarding, compensation & benefits, performance management, learning & development, off-boarding and etc. and works closely with the entity Head of HR in supporting designated business units. 

 

Key Responsibilities

Supporting HR Business Partnering 
• Serve as the primary P&O contact for assigned departments within Air & Sea Division.
• Partner with managers on workforce planning, organisational changes, employee engagement, and talent management initiatives.
• Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employment-related matters.
• Support managers in driving performance, employee development, and retention strategies.
• Support the HRBP in the execution of all assigned HR activities and responsibilities.

 

Recruitment & Onboarding
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including requisition approval, sourcing, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding.
• Work closely with hiring managers to identify talent requirements and recruitment strategies.
• Coordinate new hire onboarding activities to ensure a positive employee experience.


Employee Relations
• Advise managers on employee relations matters, disciplinary issues, grievances, performance concerns, and workplace investigations.
• Conduct counselling sessions and facilitate conflict resolution where required.
• Ensure fair and consistent application of company policies and practices.


Performance & Talent Management
• Support annual performance management processes and calibration exercises.
• Facilitate talent review discussions and succession planning activities.
• Partner with managers to identify development opportunities and training needs.


Compensation & Benefits
• Support annual salary review, bonus exercises, promotion reviews, and market benchmarking activities.
• Provide guidance on compensation and benefits policies.
• Work closely with the C&B team on employee-related compensation matters

 

HR Operations & Compliance
• Ensure employee data and HR documentation are maintained accurately and in
compliance with company requirements.
• Support contract preparation, employee lifecycle transactions, and organisational changes.
• Ensure compliance with local labour laws and internal governance requirements.
• Prepare HR reports, workforce analytics, and management presentations as required.

 

Projects & Continuous Improvement
• Participate in regional, country, and global HR projects.
• Drive process improvements and HR transformation initiatives.

 

Experience & Education

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of HR generalist experience.
• Experience supporting a logistics, supply chain, transportation, or multinational environment will be advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Experience managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and organisational development activities.
• Proficient in HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
