Key Responsibilities

1. Continuous Improvement & Productivity Optimization

  • Lead Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma initiatives to improve process flow and eliminate waste.
  • Conduct workflow studies (UPH/CT, line balancing, ergonomics, layout redesign) to enhance productivity.
  • Develop and standardize SOPs, best practices, and operational frameworks.
  • Analyse performance trends and implement actions to reduce cost, improve throughput, and enhance efficiency.

2. Operational Excellence Governance

  • Establish KPIs, performance dashboards, and governance structures to evaluate operational performance.
  • Conduct regular reviews to identify gaps and drive corrective/preventive actions.
  • Implement process control mechanisms to ensure consistency and operational stability.
  • Support business readiness for new processes, workflow changes, and capability expansion.

3. Project & Program Management

  • Lead and manage cross-functional improvement projects from planning to execution.
  • Develop business cases, ROI justification, and benefit tracking for proposed initiatives.
  • Coordinate operational readiness for new programs, system rollouts, and process transitions.
  • Manage timelines, risks, and deliverables to ensure successful project outcomes.

4. Capacity, Resource & Manpower Planning

  • Conduct capacity studies to support volume forecasting and resource planning.
  • Build manpower models to support peak periods, headcount optimization, and cross-training programs.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations for operational scaling, resource deployment, and shift planning.
  • Drive initiatives to improve workforce flexibility and operational resilience.

5. Quality, Safety & Compliance

  • Strengthen a culture of quality and safety through robust processes and preventive actions.
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement effective CAPA.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal SOPs, and audit standards.
  • Partner with Safety to improve incident reporting, hazard controls, and overall workplace safety.

6. Digital Transformation & Reporting

  • Develop or support digital dashboards and reporting automation using tools such as Power BI, WMS data, and workflow automation systems.
  • Improve real-time visibility of key operational metrics.
  • Reduce manual tasks by enabling system integration and automated data flows.
  • Support digitalization initiatives that streamline operations and enhance data accuracy.

7. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, IT, Quality, Safety and other teams to support strategic initiatives.
  • Communicate project updates, performance results, and improvement proposals to management.
  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment and ensure all stakeholders are informed and engaged.

8. People Development & Culture Building

  • Coach supervisors and team members on Lean methodologies, structured problem-solving, and process discipline.
  • Build a culture of continuous improvement, ownership, and operational excellence.
  • Develop training frameworks to enhance operational competency and leadership capability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or related disciplines.
  • 7–12 years of experience in operations, process improvement, logistics, manufacturing, or industrial engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and 5S methodologies (Green Belt certification preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
