The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for developing, maintaining, and implementing the organization’s Quality Management Systems. He/ She will be fully responsible for implementing processes, systems, and best practices relevant to quality at all levels of the organization.

 

The individual is required to provide quality guidance to the organization and support the operation process to maintain and continually improve the quality culture and performance, in line with the organization’s business objectives.

  • Assist the HOD of QHSE on daily operations of the QHSE Department.
  • Develop and implement the organization’s quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Identify quality nonconformances and work with the relevant departments to resolve them.
  • Ensure adherence to the relevant quality standards and organization’s requirements.
  • Appointed QHSE Internal Auditor. Initiate, lead, and conduct internal quality audits.
  • Liaison for external quality audits.
  • Coordinate communication with external parties on quality matters.
  • Analyze processes and trends to identify areas for continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Review and provide recommendations for corrective and preventive actions based on quality assessments.
  • Provide training, guidance, and support for personnel on quality assurance processes and best practices.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by direct superior in support of operations when necessary.

The candidate is expected to satisfy the following criteria: -

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., quality assurance, science)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in quality assurance preferably in the warehousing industry.

 

Specific experience in the following areas:

  • Ability to analyse complex problems, interpret operational needs, and develop integrated and creative solutions.
  • Knowledge of current developments, trends, best practices, project management, and related technology for quality.
  • Ability to effectively manage a large, diverse team of technical managerial/supervisory, professional, and support staff.
  • Proven working experience in quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 13485, GDPMDS, GDP, GFSI) is highly preferred.
  • Proficient MS Office skills (e.g., Excel, Words and Power point).
  • Independent and positive mindset with flexibility.
  • Able to work under pressure with a “hands-on” approach.
  • Requires travel between sites locally whenever required.
