Drive technical excellence, process stability, and operational readiness by providing engineering leadership, equipment expertise, and continuous improvement initiatives to support business and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the setup, validation, and optimisation of testing workflows, equipment configurations, and operational processes.
- Develop, implement, and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and engineering standards to ensure process consistency and compliance.
- Manage the full equipment lifecycle, including installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and replacement planning.
- Investigate and resolve complex technical and equipment-related issues, serving as the key escalation point for operational teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI), new line setups, process transfers, and engineering change implementations.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment of new equipment, technologies, and operational processes.
- Deliver technical training and coaching to operations teams to strengthen equipment knowledge and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Monitor engineering performance metrics and recommend solutions to improve process capability and equipment uptime.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant engineering experience in manufacturing, logistics, automation, or a high-volume operational environment.
- Strong hands-on experience in equipment implementation, process setup, commissioning, and optimisation.
- Proven track record in troubleshooting complex technical issues and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience supporting NPI, process transfers, or new line implementation projects.
- Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
