  • Take charge of warehouse daily activities and implement continuous improvement projects.
  • Lead the program to achieve company and program objectives
  • Manage the operating cost and ensure profitability of the program.
  • Lead and motivate staff to achieve company and customers’ objectives.
  • Manage training for the warehouse administration staff and operations staff.
  • Enforce compliance to warehouse and safety procedures and audit compliances.
  • Ensure Quality/Safety/Security Policy and Objectives are understood, implemented and complied by the staff.
  • Participate in monthly KPI meeting. Quarterly Business Review Meeting, Management Review Meeting and new project both internal and external
  • Take disciplinary action on staff when required
  • Approve staff leave application
  • Perform reversal of selected system transaction having inventory impact with supporting document
  • Initiate system change request

Requirements

1. Operational & Technical Skills

  • Inventory management: Knowledge of stock control systems (e.g., FIFO, LIFO), cycle counting, and stock accuracy.
  • Warehouse Management Systems (WMS): Experience with systems like SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan.
  • Logistics & Supply Chain Knowledge: Understanding of inbound/outbound processes, distribution, and freight coordination.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Familiarity with OSHA or other local safety regulations, and experience enforcing safety protocols.

2. Leadership & Management Skills

  • Team Management: Ability to lead, motivate, and develop warehouse staff.
  • Problem-Solving: Quick decision-making in high-pressure situations, especially for resolving operational bottlenecks.
  • Planning & Organizational Skills: Capable of managing daily operations, labor planning, and resource allocation.

3. Analytical & Reporting Skills

  • Data Analysis: Ability to interpret warehouse KPIs (e.g., pick accuracy, order cycle time) and drive improvements.
  • Reporting: Generating performance reports for management and using insights for continuous improvement.

4. Communication & Interpersonal Skills

  • Clear Communication: Interacting with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments.
  • Conflict Resolution: Handling disputes or issues among staff or external partners effectively.

5. Adaptability & Tech Savviness

  • Tech-Friendly: Comfort with mobile scanning devices, automated storage systems, and other warehouse tech.
  • Adaptable to Change: Able to manage and implement process changes or lean initiatives.
  • Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations or supply chain logistics.
  • 2–5 years in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably in a high-volume or fast-paced warehouse/distribution environment.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as SAP, Oracle, Manhattan, or similar.
  • Proven track record in inventory control, shipping/receiving, and order fulfillment.
  • Familiarity with lean warehousing, 5S, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies is often a plus.
  • Experience managing large teams (e.g., warehouse assistants, forklift operators, pickers/packers).
  • Exposure to health & safety regulations, audits, and compliance standards (e.g., OSHA or equivalent).
