About the Position

We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Sr. Project Manager to be directly responsible for executing strategic and complex projects, with focus on major system migration and technology rollouts. This is a critical role, reporting to the Lead of Project Management and Training for APAC. You will serve as a project expert, driving operational excellence and successful project delivery from the front lines. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure, ensuring every project is delivered with precision and a zero-failure mindset. 

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Leadership:
• Responsible for governance, monitoring and senior leadership reporting for (Migration) projects for a specific Global Customer
• Lead and support all operational project workstreams, steps, and deliverables, adhering to our established Contract Logistics Project Approach (CLPA).
• Directly manage the full project lifecycle for complex initiatives, from initiation and planning to implementation and handover.
• Identify gaps and provide practical recommendations to local management

• Spearhead turnaround projects on a case-by-case basis, working directly with operations teams to implement feasible solutions.
• Take ownership of the steps within the CLPA, ensuring all associated tools, templates, and standards are used effectively.

Operational & System Migration Analysis:
• Strategically plan and execute legacy system migrations and technology rollouts, including SAP S/4HANA, ERP, and warehouse management systems (WMS). 
• Lead data migration, cutover planning, testing coordination, and business readiness activities to ensure successful SAP deployment with minimal operational disruption.
• Implement data-driven improvements to optimize resources, systems, Material Handling Equipment (MHE), and material flow.
• Clearly define project scope and manage risks, deriving proactive corrective and preventive action plans.
• Manage comprehensive change management plans to ensure seamless adoption of new systems and processes, minimizing business disruption.

Expert Guidance & Training:
• Serve as a subject matter expert on project implementation, providing guidance and support to country-level teams to ensure compliance and best practices.
• Identify and close knowledge gaps by developing and facilitating effective training, particularly on CLPA.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement, mentoring teams to build project managementproficiency.

Required Skills & Experience
• Over 10 years of hands-on experience in operational project management within the logistics and supply chain industry.
• Proven experience in managing implementation projects from start to finish, including project initiation, planning, execution, testing, and go-live.
• Demonstrated experience leading large-scale system migrations and ERP transformation projects, including SAP S/4HANA implementations, rollouts, upgrades, or legacy-to-SAP migration programs, preferably in warehousing/ Contract Logistics environment. 
• Proven hands-on experience managing SAP project execution across the full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, data migration, testing, cutover planning, golive, hypercare, and business adoption. 
• Strong analytical and change management skills with a good commercial and technical understanding of Contract Logistics.
• Excellent communication skills and confident in senior stakeholder engagement.
• A PMP, Prince 2 or agile certification.
• Change management certification is an added advantage.
• A self-starter with a positive, problem-solving attitude who can work under minimal supervision and time pressure.
• Willingness to travel overseas on a project basis (>50%).
