• Simulation Modeling: Architect, design, and implement Discrete Event Simulation (DES) models to analyze, test, and optimize complex operational workflows and system behaviors.
• AI & Machine Learning: Apply modern AI techniques to solve business challenges. This includes leveraging prompt engineering, deploying vision recognition systems, and developing accurate prediction models.
• Software Development: Write clean, modular, and scalable code utilizing Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles to integrate AI and simulation tools into our core systems and build simple POC for concept testing with operations
• Data Engineering & Pipelines: Take ownership of the data lifecycle by performing data cleaning, transformation, and foundational data engineering to ensure high-quality inputs for machine learning pipelines.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to translate business requirements into technical simulations and AI-driven solutions.
• Training and Worlshops: Organise, develop and deliver curriculum with teammates to deliver training products to internal and external stakeholders for capability development on specific technologies

Requirements

• Simulation Expertise: Proven knowledge and hands-on experience in the design and execution of Discrete Event Simulation models (e.g., Flexisim or Python-based libraries like SimPy).
• Programming Skills: Strong proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) languages (such as Python, C++, Java, or C#).
• Modern AI Techniques: Demonstrated ability in applying modern AI methodologies, specifically:
• Prompt engineering and working with Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Deploying and managing computer vision/vision recognition models.
• Building, training, and deploying predictive machine learning models.
• Data Handling: Basic to intermediate understanding of data cleaning, preprocessing, and data engineering techniques required to construct robust ML pipelines (e.g., using Pandas, SQL).
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex, messy real-world data into structured, actionable models.
