ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(Key tasks)

 

•  Execute the daily operation of the materials warehouse, chemical storage and other designated storage areas.

•  Be responsible for all material movements within the warehouse and for maintaining stock accuracy.

•  Ensure preservation activities are carried out on relevant equipment and spares.

 

 

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

• Responsible for running warehouse operations, including picking and packing based on customer order reservations.

•  Check the quality and quantity of items during the receiving and release of goods.

•  Perform scanning and put-away of goods.

•  Perform monthly stock counts and annual stock takes.

•  Maintain a high level of inventory accuracy and stock accountability.

•  Manage stock movements, inspect goods, preserve materials, and stage materials in a timely manner.

•  Perform system transactions (GR/GI) in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and SAP.

•  Perform housekeeping duties.

•  Communicate and collaborate within the internal team.

•  Handle other related ad-hoc assignments as and when required.

EDUCATION AND/ OR EXPERIENCE

•  At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in warehouse and inventory operations.

•  Familiar with computer applications.

•  A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills, able to interact with people at all levels.

•  Possesses a PSA forklift licence.

•  Knowledge of WMS/SAP is an added advantage.

•  Able to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and work under pressure with minimum supervision.

•  Primary/Secondary School/O-Level qualification.
