Ensure material availability, inventory accuracy, and efficient logistics operations to support uninterrupted production and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage receiving, storage, issuance, movement, and traceability of materials in accordance with operational and customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure effective stock control through regular monitoring and cycle counts.
- Lead daily warehouse operations, including manpower deployment, task allocation, and workforce planning.
- Monitor and manage service level agreement (SLA) performance, productivity, and material flow efficiency.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, operational issues, and process deviations.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety, quality, and operational procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and service performance.
- Serve as the primary customer-facing contact for logistics, inventory, and operational matters.
- Prepare operational reports and performance updates for management and customers.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline.
- Approximately 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, inventory management, or supply chain environments.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations, and material management processes.
- Experience leading operational teams and coordinating daily workforce activities.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong problem-solving, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Good communication skills with the ability to engage customers and internal stakeholders effectively.
