It takes a special kind of drive to keep the world moving and due to growth, at DSV we are looking for an experienced Facility Manager to join and strengthen our local Facility team.
The role is well-suited for a Senior Professional with deep expertise in strategic management of the facilities, long term strategy setting up and execution, practical experience and strong leadership skills with ability to succeed in a global workplace environment.
 
 
Location: Sofia, Bulgaria
 
 
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Developing and managing the organization's administrative and physical resources of buildings, offices and warehouses;
  • Actively participating in workplace and office changes, meeting rooms preparation, internal and external premises reorganization; 
  • Analysing complex issues related to resource management and organizational initiatives, preparing relevant reports, budget recommendations and efficient use of resources;
  • Coodinating with facility service providers activities as landscaping, waste management, cleaning, pest control, premises repairs, canteen, external areas and other facility services. 
  • Leading, managing and supporting the professional development of administrative staff to ensure smooth business operations and timely, accurate information flow;
  
EDUCATION BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Economics, Business Administration or a related field;
  • Minimum 5 years of facility and premises management experience;
  • Good knowledge of the regulatory framework, unitities and building infrastucture;
  • Additional experience in logistics and contract management is an advantage;
  • Fluency in English is a must.

  • Mindset driven by strong problem-solving skills in addition to a hands-on mentality and result-oriented actions;
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail and deadlines as well as ability to manage a variety of projects in a high-paced environment;
  • Exceptional, transparent and direct communication skills tailored to different levels of an organization;
  • Developed people management skills;
