Teminal Manager



DSV is looking for a new Terminal Manager for our terminal in Stockholm! Are you an experienced, humble leader? Then you might be the person we are looking for!

As Terminal Manager at our Stockholm Terminal in Länna, you are responsible for day-to-day operations with a focus on cost control and staff management issues that arise in operations. The role as Terminal Manager involves a wide area of ​​responsibility at a high pace with an operation that is ongoing 24 hours a day. As Terminal Manager you will be responsible of managing 30-35 employees divided into three shifts. Your responsibility consists of resource planning, work environment and security at the warehouse and terminal.


Daily tasks

The daily tasks include:


• Manage daily operations at warehouse and terminal to achieve set goals and KPI's.
• Coach and develop staff.
• Follow-up and report outcomes of KPI’s
• Establish and ensure compliance with internal procedures and policies.
• Continuously develop and implement processes and improvement measures for the area of ​​responsibility


Your profile

We are looking for you who have at least 5 years of documented leadership experience. Previously you have worked in a similar environment in either the process industry or terminal operations. In this recruitment, we place great emphasis on personal fitness with a focus on leadership qualities and a distinct "winning mentality".


To succeed in this role, you are a structured, committed and results-focused leader who is confident in yourself and who likes to coach and develop others. You have the ability to create overview and break down problems to make them understandable and manageable. Furthermore, you have a strong internal drive and enjoy working with both daily operations and more strategic planning. Other traits that are sought after are that you are self-starting and hands on.


The role involves many internal contact areas, so it is important that you are used to communicating at all levels. Good knowledge of both spoken and written Swedish and English is a requirement.
