In Tholen, our warehouse spans 94,000 m², where we work together on the inbound and outbound handling of goods for our international key accounts, mainly from the US. Together with 30 colleagues, you are the go-to person and checkpoint for our clients when it comes to deliveries, inventory management, claims, shipping documentation, and arranging transport. Customer first: You’re on it.

How you do this? By collaborating with a capital C! You know exactly which colleagues to approach for up-to-date inventory and order information. Your inquisitive nature means, you also gather the necessary data from our WMS. You know what is happening with your clients. Essential, as they rely on your accuracy and fast service. When disruptions occur, such as inventory discrepancies or delivery issues, you come to the rescue. You quickly find the most customer-focused solution. This is how you ensure strong relationships and guarantee top quality service. You achieve this by:

 

  • identifying disruptions in the order or delivery process, resolving them where possible, and proactively informing clients about delays or changes;
  • managing, checking, and securing the inbound and outbound order process, invoicing, and arranging transport with all necessary shipping documentation;
  • handling complaints or claims and, if necessary, escalating them to relevant departments;
  • working accurately, keeping an overview of the entire process, and closely collaborating with warehouse colleagues, external stakeholders, and other DSV divisions;
  • primarily communicating via email and, together with a buddy, being responsible for various (international) clients.

You bring

  • knowledge of inbound and outbound customer service, preferably in a logistics environment;
  • familiarity with shipping documentation, inventory management, and ideally some knowledge of customs procedures;
  • a cheerful, positive personality with strong prioritization skills;
  • several years of experience in a similar role within customer service, customer care, or support is a plus;
  • naturally customer-focused, strong communication skills, and fluent in English, Dutch is a plus.
