Move forward as Manager Operations at DSV in Tholen
As a logistics management professional, you know that a warehouse truly performs at its best when processes, people, and technology are perfectly aligned. As an operations manager, you will have both the responsibility and the freedom to make that happen. Here, with us at DSV. Sounds like a plan? Drive the change and apply now!

You get it done
Our warehouse in Tholen? About 94,000 m² of constant activity! As an operations manager, you ensure an efficient, scalable, and future-proof operation. You translate strategic objectives into concrete results. Service is central, but always with an eye on profitability. Strong team, stable processes, maximum impact: You’re on it.

How you do this? You will lead warehouse managers and supervisors and are indirectly responsible for a team of 80 to 180 employees. As a leader, you are visibly proactive and know how to engage people in the organization’s goals. You look beyond daily operations, analyzing processes to identify cost-saving opportunities and independently develop calculations and business cases. Based on these insights, you initiate improvement projects that contribute to a more efficient and effective operation.

The focus is on achieving customer KPIs, while maintaining the balance between service, efficiency, and cost. Your primary mission is to further strengthen operational stability, build a strong team, and create better alignment between processes to gain maximum control over performance and costs. You achieve this by:

  • promoting process improvements, digitization, and automation to ensure the efficiency and future-readiness of our warehouse;
  • actively contributing to the development of your team’s skills and capabilities, ensuring optimal deployment of employees;
  • to guide and monitor new customer implementations or expansions, as well as optimizations for existing relationships;
  • to bridge the gap between functional needs and technical solutions, while balancing sometimes competing interests;
  • identifying synergies across different operations, demonstrating awareness of relationships and tailoring your communication to your audience.

Your team stands out within DSV by its strong collaboration, personal development, and continuous optimization. You will lead a diverse group of colleagues, together creating a dynamic and engaged environment where processes and performance are continuously elevated. Teamwork in action!
