Move forward as Inside Sales Account Manager at DSV in Venlo or Tilburg

Are you a commercially driven professional who sees opportunities where others might miss them? In this role you build strong customer relationships, recognise growth potential and ensure your customer portfolio continues to expand.

Growing existing customer relationships and identifying commercial opportunities within our transport organisation: you’re on it.

 

How do you do this? As an inside sales account manager, you are responsible for your own customer portfolio and manage it as if it were your own business. You maintain continuous contact with customers, identify opportunities for additional transport solutions and keep pushing until opportunities are successfully realised. You are not someone who gives up easily: you keep asking questions, thinking along with the customer and pushing forward until results are achieved.

 

Together with customer service, operations and the field sales team, you ensure that customers are served in the best possible way while your portfolio grows in revenue, margin and customer satisfaction. You achieve this by:

  • actively maintaining customer relationships and having regular contact via phone and email;
  • identifying commercial opportunities and expanding existing transport flows for customers;
  • preparing and presenting pricing proposals and participating in MBRs and QBRs;
  • analysing customer needs, escalations and improvement opportunities and translating these into concrete solutions.

Your team stands out within DSV because of the strong commercial mindset and focus on results. Within each region, field account managers work closely with inside sales and customer service to grow customer relationships. You play a key role in this process: you recognise opportunities and ensure they are turned into results.

You bring

  • work experience in a commercial role within transport or logistics;
  • a strong commercial drive and the motivation to grow both customers and results;
  • strong communication skills in Dutch and preferably also English;
  • an entrepreneurial and results-driven mindset where you recognise opportunities and persist until the goal is achieved;
  • the ability to work independently and strengthen relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
