Move forward as Manager Centralised Operations at DSV Road in the Netherlands

You are nationally responsible for the management and development of the Operations Center Road departments located in Tilburg, Ede and Venlo. You ensure seamless cooperation between our inbound and outbound service teams, so that all customers can always rely on excellent digital service where possible, personal where needed. You are the central national point of contact for inbound and outbound services and ensure optimal collaboration between internal, external and international stakeholders.
You play a key role in centralising and professionalising import and export processes and are ultimately responsible for optimally supporting our customers, partners and consignees. Performance is measured, among other things, by our NPS scores. These scores are often the starting point for improvement initiatives that you initiate and oversee across internal and external domains. You achieve all of this through effective leadership, monitoring KPIs and SLAs, optimising processes, and delivering reliable reports and management information: you’re on it.
How you do this? You ensure that our departments perform optimally and that partners and consignees are served efficiently. You actively promote the use of our digital self-service platform and work towards one uniform, future-proof way of working. You achieve this by:
- realising a uniform way of working across both departments while maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction;
- analysing performance and deviations, translating insights into strategic decisions, and continuously improving processes and service quality;
- leading, coaching and developing your teams together with the team leaders;
- monitoring and adjusting SLAs and KPIs, safeguarding internal and external customer satisfaction (NPS), and continuously improving services;
- safeguarding productivity and quality;
- acting as the management-level escalation point for complex customer and operational issues;
- driving collaboration and synergy between departments, locations and international teams.

You bring
- a completed bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience;
- at least 5 years of leadership experience;
- experience with process optimisation and change management;
- digitalisation and customer satisfaction embedded in your DNA;
- excellent skills in prioritisation, coordination and time management, with a high degree of flexibility;
- strong people management skills;
- excellent command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
