Summary

The Freight Forwarder, Final Mile & Client Services supports a dedicated semiconductor customer by managing final mile transportation, shipment visibility, and customer communications. This role ensures critical shipments move safely, efficiently, and on time while delivering a high level of customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinate domestic transportation from airports, ports, warehouses, and distribution centers.
Manage shipment execution, delivery scheduling, and final mile operations.
Provide proactive shipment updates and resolve service issues quickly.
Prepare and process required documentation for the client, internal stakeholders, and vendors.
Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to the customer on the status of their shipments

Work directly with the customer, carriers, warehouses, and internal teams.
Source transportation capacity and monitor carrier performance.
Ensure accurate documentation, system updates, and regulatory compliance.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, including customs regulations and trade laws
All other duties as assigned

Educational background / Work experience

Prior experience in freight forwarding of any kind
Prior experience managing cargo for specialty or large key accounts
Direct client communication experience required
Experience with oversized, projects or any other out-of-gauge cargo is a benefit.

For this position, the expected base pay range is $23.58- $29.47 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors, including relevant experience, skills, education or certifications, and geographic location, consistent with applicable laws and company policy.
