Move forward as Facility Assistant at DSV in Venlo
DSV is growing fast in Venlo. That is why we are looking for a facility assistant who wants to tackle this growth with us! We have plenty of work to do with new customers finding their place in our warehouse and the opening of our new site on the schedule. That means that as a facility assistant, you get to roll up your sleeves!

You get it done
With a large dose of common sense, two right hands and the necessary technical knowledge, you tackle every facility challenge with both hands. You get to the bottom of every report and investigate whether you can solve the problem yourself. If so, within your team you have all the tools and knowledge available to find the best and most sustainable solution. You’re on it!

How do you do this? With your planning skills, you plan your daily work like a pro. Whether you are repairing an entrance door, testing the sprinkler systems or tackling a mega-maintenance job, you do it all without disrupting operations in Venlo. What's more, you ensure that our employees can continue working without disruption!

You achieve this by:
•    planning your daily work, using our facilities system Top Desk;
•    cooperating in (preventive) maintenance of building parts, installations, utilities and machines;
•    assisting with removals, renovations and household matters. So that employees can continue to do their work at all times;
•    managing and delivering the stock of consumables, such as tape, pallets, packaging materials and more.

Your team stands out within DSV because of the chunk of technical knowledge within your team. Some of your colleagues are maintenance engineers or electricians, while others have worked as mechanics, technical staff or machine operators. One thing you have in common is your passion for technology.

You bring
•    technical work experience, e.g. as a maintenance engineer, technical assistant, facilities assistant or similar;
•    good command of the Dutch and English languages;
•    common sense, practical attitude and solution-oriented thinking;
•    possession of a forklift certificate or willingness to obtain one via DSV.
