Are you the person who keeps an overview when transport truly becomes tailor‑made? As a freight forwarder for Contract Logistics at DSV, you organize and coordinate the entire transport process for our customers. With your eye for detail, problem‑solving mindset and customer‑focused approach, you ensure a premium logistics experience!

You get it done

At our location in Venlo, your team manages all transport activities for Contract Logistics. This means switching gears quickly, finding solutions and planning smartly. You make sure shipments are combined efficiently, rates are accurate, and customers always know the status of their transport: you’re on it.

How you do this? You maintain full oversight in a dynamic environment and stay in direct contact with customers, carriers and internal colleagues. You monitor shipments, safeguard quality and proactively think along about the best logistics solutions. You achieve this by:

• combining shipments and purchasing transport under the best possible conditions;
• determining sales rates and securing optimal margins;
• following up on leads, shipments and transport statuses;
• maintaining communication with customers, carriers and internal stakeholders;
• resolving any deviations or disruptions in the transport process.

You bring

• resilience and strong analytical skills;
• proactive, solution‑oriented mindset and no 9‑to‑5 mentality;
• experience as a transport planner or freight forwarder is a strong advantage;
• experience with MS Office; knowledge of Excel is a plus;
• good command of the English language (Dutch is not required).
