Move forward as Logistics Employee X-dock at DSV in Venlo
Unload imports, load exports, and prepare distribution shipments. You'll encounter it all as a logistics employee at the X-dock. Are you ready to grow with us at our brand-new location on the Malcom McLeanstraat 2 in Sevenum?

You get it done
You start your day with a cup of coffee, together with your colleagues. You discuss the day, after which tasks and responsibilities are divided. Your team ensures the daily loading and unloading of trucks, preparing shipments for various routes, and replenishing inventory locations. You’re on it!

How do you do this? When unloading trailers, you perform an inbound control and take responsibility for damage registration. When loading trailers, it's important to match the information on the shipping lists with the shipments that actually go into the truck. Nothing is more frustrating than a shipment ending up on the wrong route! You get this done by:

• performing all common logistics tasks, such as loading, unloading, and repackaging shipments. You often do this with the help of an EPT or a forklift;
• scanning inbound and outbound shipments using a handheld scanner;
• processing pallets into collies (piece goods) that will then go on groupage transport;
• handling transport documents.

You bring

• some experience in logistics or transportation is a plus. But even without experience, we'll teach you all the tricks of the trade;
• good command of the Dutch and English languages;
• do you already have a forklift certificate? Then you can start right away! Otherwise, you can obtain your forklift certificate through DSV;
• willingness to work in a shift schedule from 16:30 to 01:30.
