You know how to communicate and collaborate at all levels on the repair & return processes within DSV? Then this is the role for you!

 

You get it done
The Business Change Management Solutions Global department works to support the business in general and to streamline processes for the benefit of both customers and DSV: you will work on it. 

How you do this? In the Logistics Engineer role, you will work in an international environment. You support and deliver as part of a project the business requirements as agreed with the customer. The main objectives are to analyse (customer) data, design (warehouse) processes and implement them in the assigned system.

 

You get this done by: 

  • collecting data from internal and external sources;
  • analysing the data sets;
  • designing and recording processes derived from the business requirements with an emphasis on return & repair processes;
  • participating in supplier selection and application implementation;
  • testing systems and delivering them to operations for user acceptance testing;
  • supervising during user acceptance testing.

 

The Business Change Management (BCM) Solutions Global department works globally to support the business in general and streamline processes of both customers and DSV. BCM provides project and change management along with process and application engineering services. 
Training to facilitate desired changes and ultimately ensure they happen is also part of the services provided. The projects you work on take place worldwide at various DSV locations. It varies per project how often and/or you need to be on site to deliver the project.

In addition, there are several employees in Belgium, Poland, and South Africa, working together with local engineers to meet the challenges posed by a rapidly changing environment. You bring
As a person, you know how to communicate and collaborate at all levels to deliver the project in the organisation. You can stand your ground when challenged. You have a hands-on mentality and work in a structured manner.
Furthermore, you have

  • a bachelor’s or Master's degree; 
  • good knowledge of MS Office and applications; 
  • experience within contract logistics, preferably in an international environment;
  • 0-3 years' work experience (as a logistics engineer);
  • experience with return and repair flows is an advantage.

In addition, you

  • are fluent in speaking and writing English;
  • are willing and able to travel (about 10-20% of the time).
