How will you do this? As a procurement specialist, you are responsible for our procurement administration. You ensure that our stocks are always up-to-date and that we never "miss out". That's not all! As a procurement specialist, you are involved in (national) procurement projects and tenders, providing our operation with valuable advice on stocks and alternatives for existing consumables.

You get this done by:

• managing the procurement process and central stocks, from packaging materials, catering to furniture. You are in the lead;
• bringing in the right goods and services on time, always for the best value for money;
• maintaining purchasing contracts and contacts with our valued suppliers;
• assessing existing suppliers based on agreements made and searching for new top suppliers through quotations and market research, with sustainability playing an increasingly important role.

Your team stands out within DSV because of your drive and experience in the field of procurement. You are an advisor for our organisation, but also keep each other informed of the latest developments in the market. Sustainability and circularity are high on your agenda. You bring

• mbo or bachelor degree in procurement, international business, facility management or similar;
• some experience as a buyer, procurement or purchasing;
• experience with procurement systems such as Top Desk or SAP is an advantage. In addition, the Microsoft Office package holds no secrets for you;
• good command of both Dutch and English;
• decisiveness, independence, persuasiveness and result-orientation;
• minimum availability of 32 hours per week.
