What will you be doing?
As Senior Customer Services Representative you coordinate activities within the assigned Customer Services team, for one or more customers. Performing administrative actions, planning activities and acting as a liaison between customer and internal departments, in such a way that the correct data and planning is available for the inbound-, order pick-, VAL- and outbound process in the Warehouse and customer specific agreements and wishes are met. 

The Customer Services Department is an operational department within a site and is the first point of contact for the site's customers, for orders, questions and complaints regarding their goods storage and/or transport.  Depending on the size/complexity of the customers, the department consists of 1 to 5 teams.  Each team is managed by a Customer Services Supervisor and consists of 4 to 15 people.  The Senior Customer Services Representative has a coordinating role within his/her team of Customer Services Representatives.

 

Your core tasks are among others:

  • Processing data on the basis of customer order(s);
  • Acting as the first operational point of contact;
  • Spotting disruptions, informing the customer(s) and carriers of expected delays/changes;
  • Taking care of the administration for the purpose of invoicing, monthly delivery to Finance department in cooperation with manager;
  • Supervising/training (new) employees.

  • A completed MBO education (preferably in logistics);
  • Command of the Dutch, English and third European language orally and in writing.

  • A salary in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for DSV Solutions (Dutch branches), between €2.285,57 and € 3.357,80 gross per month, based on 40 hours;
