The Business Change Management Solutions Global department works to support the business in general and to streamline processes for the benefit of both customers and DSV: you will work on it. 

How you do this? In the position of Senior Logistics Engineer, you work in an international environment. You lead and deliver as part of a project the business requirements as agreed with the customer. You lead and facilitate workshops with customers, business, and IT to define requirements and processes. For existing business, you are able to assess processes, define optimisations and implement them.

You get this done by: 

• collecting data from internal and external sources;
• analysing (customer) data sets;
• designing innovative and appropriate (mechanised) concepts in logistics and deploying them in operations;
• calculating developed concepts in a warehouse management calculation model;
• presenting results in a professional and understandable way;
• designing and evaluating warehouse processes;
• determining and quantifying the impact on the business;
• communicating with suppliers, internal and external customers;
• configuring the required setup in the warehouse management system.
• supervising warehouse and customer visits worldwide with a strong focus on Europe.

The Business Change Management (BCM) department works to support the business in general and to streamline processes of both customers and DSV. BCM provides project and change management together with process and application engineering services. 
Training to facilitate desired changes and ultimately ensure they happen is also part of the services provided. The projects you work on take place worldwide at various DSV locations. It varies per project how often and/or if you need to be on site to deliver the project.

You bring
As a person, you are independent and the leader who knows how to communicate at all levels and collaborate to deliver the project. You are able to drive client implementations using data analysis, process design, application configuration combined with automation. You have a hands-on mentality; you work in a structured way and can actively manage stakeholders.
Furthermore, you have

• a bachelor’s or Master's degree; 
• good knowledge of MS Office and applications
• experience within contract logistics, preferably in an international environment;
• 3+ years of experience as a (senior) logistics engineer;
• experience with implementing WMS systems (preferably BlueYonder WMS Dispatcher);
• excellent communication, presentation, and organisation skills.

In addition, you

• are fluent in speaking and writing English;
• are willing and able to travel (approximately 10-20% of the time).
